The public perceives and judges the discipline at McAuley High School by the appearance of our students when they travel to and from school. We therefore ask parents and caregivers of the girls to ensure that they provide their daughters with the correct school uniform and that is maintained at a high standard.
The school conducts ‘spot’ uniform checks and any student not in correct uniform may be sent home to change. Parents are expected to support the school in ensuring that their daughters wear their full uniform at all times. All garments should be named.
No jewellery may be worn except a watch and one small plain silver or gold stud in each earlobe. No nail polish should be worn. Hair is to be a natural colour and ribbons should be black, burgundy, or the same colour as the student’s hair. Lipstick and eye makeup (including false eyelashes) are NOT part of the uniform.
